RCA Minutes July 18 2011
Attendance: Nora, Mary, Stephanie, Lloyd, Rosa, Ken, Christine, Patti H., Nancy.
Meeting convened at 7pm
Previous minutes read by Stephanie, Ken moved to approve, seconded by Rosa, all approved.
Treasurers report read by Patti, after she acknowledged Nancy for doing a great job on keeping the books. Totals in acct: $ 11571.11. Nancy moved to accept, Mary seconded, all approved.
Previous Business:
-Contact Don Richey re: water filtration system.
New Business:
-Nancy motioned that since Patti Hone has been appointed the new Treasurer, she be given signing authority for signing cheques and managing RCA accounts. All approved.
-Northern Savings Credit Union needs a current list of all RCA Directors. Patti will provide.
-Work Bee scheduled for July 23, Saturday, Stephanie will announce in the Newsletter. Ken has offered to cleanup the blown down stage so we can fix the fence for the ball tournament. Ken and Lloyd will work on the ball field. Volunteers will get a free pancake breakfast. Volunteer needed to call people who don`t have email.
-Re; Ball tournament, will charge them $500.00 for Sat and Sun. They can camp for free. $200.00 deposit fee.
-New lock to be installed on the basement door at the Work Bee.
-Aug 6th is last day of Pancake Breakfast and Flea Market, will have a $5.00 Bag Sale and donate to the Sally Ann.
-Hasp locks needed for the consession stand to temporarily store flea market items. Stephanie proposed Nora buy the locks this week so they can be installed at the work bee. Mary seconded, all approved.
-Will clean out Walter`s house at work bee.
-Nancy called the society people and they said all the execs of the RCA are called directors.
