RCA Minutes June 20 2011

Nora convened meeting at 7:02pm
Previous minutes read by Stephanie, Mary moved to approve, Ken seconded, all approved
Nancy read Treasurers report, totals in accounts: $10,671.59. Stephanie moved to approve, seconded by Mary, all approved.
Previous Business:
Morgan updated on clean up, hired two new workers, now has 5 Rosswood residents working on the woodlot. Another contracter Ross Holton will be cleaning up behind Duen's. About 4 loads a day. Will be putting more signage up, warning of active logging. Has installed a gate on Frickman. Guesstimates he should have half of the woodlot done by end of Sept. Pine market is opening up end of summer
Re; Windstorm Clean Up. Mark Reiter, from Northwest Timberalnds, wants to have a community meeting to give updates and give locals an opportunity to submit bids for logging in the next phase of clean up along the highway, Frickman Rd. Community meeting organized for Monday June 27, 7pm. Steph will notify community in Rosswood Newsletter.
-Re; Firewood around Hall, campground and Egan. Stephanie will announce in Newsletter; locals can take the wood from Egan and community grounds. Can go all the way back on Egan.
New Business:
Re: Mary would like to bake bread for the community. Betty G. Proposed we allow Mary to use the kitchen at the community hall to make bread for the community. Seconded by Stephanie, all approved.
-Some discussion was had about getting more iron out of the water at the Hall. Stephanie will ask Don Ritchey about what needs to be done.
-Luke Ginther's memorial will be on July 16th, 2pm at the Geiers. Can confirm on facebook through Wilf Geier's facebook page.
-Mary moved that Patti Hone be appointed as Treasurer, Nancy seconded, all approved.

-Last day of Pancake Breakfast is Aug 6th, but the Baseball Tournaments Organizers will cook pancakes on Aug 12th, locals are welcome.
-Treasurer showed revised Profit and Loss statement. See attached budget. $623.52 is now in the Hall Restoration Fund.
