RCA Minutes October 19
Nora convened meeting 7:10pm.
Previous minutes read by Stephanie, motion to approve by Clarke, seconded by Nancy, all approved.
Treasurers report read by Nancy, totals in account; $11488.63, moved to approve by Ken, seconded by Clarke, all approved
Treasurer added up all credits and debits for Pancake Breakfasts, total profit after all expenses $1490.10.
-Agreement was made to do our yearly budget in January, for the following fiscal year March_April.
-Stephanie proposed RCA spends $750.00 on liability insurance, seconded by Clarke.
-Clarke questioned liability insurance costs, will inquire with Keenleyside Insurance about alternative costs.
-Rosswood cookbooks now at Nancy's and the Rosswood GeneralSstore.
Previous Business;
-Grant writer, Val Gauvin, has submitted our grant proposal to Gaming Grant, will not find out if we are approved until March 2010.
-Stephanie called exterminator, awaiting return call.
-Ken has filter material, will fill sand filter soon.
-No poaching sign is now in place, thank you Bjorn P.
New Business;
-Re; Clearing septic field, no bids were submitted. RCA will ask Bill Geier to put in 3-4 hours, at $45.00 and hour, to hopefully clear the field. Clarke will volunteer to help Bill if needed.
Re; heating of the Hall over the winter. We will keep heat on low over winter.
Re; Winter RCA meeting locations will be held at the Rosswood General Store.
Will announce in Newsletter.
-Christmas dinner, Dec 12th will be announced as a non-alcohol event.
